ABchimie’s conformal coatings range provide high level environmental protection for PCBAs.

By applying a thin layer, typically 25 to 50 microns thick, these coatings can significantly improve a PCBA’s working life, reliability, and performance. They protect the PCBA from harsh conditions like salt spray, humidity, extreme temperatures, solvents, and dust, which can otherwise cause corrosion, current leakage, and premature failure. A commonly used method that delivers excellent results, especially on flat surfaces. Ideal for general applications requiring uniform coverage.

2. Spray Gun / Aerosol
A cost-effective, manual application method using either a spray gun or aerosol can. All ABchimie coatings are compatible with this technique, making it suitable for small to medium-scale production.

3. Selective Coating (Automated Dispensing)
For high-volume, precision applications, automated dispensing systems such as ASYMTEK, PVA, USI, and DIMA provide consistent and reliable results. All ABchimie coatings can be used with the appropriate dispense head, ensuring performance and efficiency in mass production environments.

4. Dipping
An effective method for small production runs, dipping ensures complete coating coverage, including hard-to-reach areas beneath components.
